work day mornings can always be empty, if it's not Ronnie or maybe some other local favourite. Plus there are 3 tables now, so probably people who are there, are choosing between matches.

But that's no excuse. The Stevens match was held over so that he could play in front of his own crowd, but there's hardly a crowd. Makes you wonder how many people will watch Fu-Higginson or Perry-Dott, let alone King-Campbell...

Stevens match should have been held in the evening though
                hopefull King-Campbell will be coveraged

I agree with Odrl.. Dott or King are nowhere near of being crowd favourites, and their matches will probably get little attention.

Sad to see Matthew up against empty seats.. He has done more than enough to deserve more

I also hope it will be covered.
And at the moment I'd like to see Ebdon match, should be much more of a fight compared to Robbo's match.

Ebdon seems to have problems with Hawkins often!

Everyone can have problems with Hawkins... I remember getting my hair grey during a couple of his matches against Ronnie He's a battler, and not afraid of scrappy matches and grinding opponents out.

                            Hawkins leads 2-0
So Ebdon is not the ultimate grinder, then?

And they have finished 2 frames by now, same as the other 2 matches, so they're not exceptionally slow/grinding so far.

Hmm, Ebdon can be a fast attacking player. I am sure Hawkins can play some fluent snooker as well, and looks like he makes decent breaks today, so frames are not scrappy and slow. It all depends on how the balls roll, really.
