    • 4-0 to John there. It depends what you consider atractive. I find serious approuch to every match, great breakbuilding, great safety shots, tough clearences by Higgins much more atractive than watching some "I'm awfull with the cue ball, but thanx to God i pot everything" type of players such as Robertson, Wenbo, Allen etc.

        ah, I know who he is I've seen him win too! That's really strange you haven't seen him win lately...

        Judd let's Mark off by missing the pink... Come On the Hoover!!!:snooker:

          I love the risk of my favourite player losing out to an unknown player, which is just not happening to John for the last couple of seasons..

          This is the reason I watched O'Sullivan v Bingham, but never had a look at Higgins v Judge, because the match had been decided before even it got started.

                • Come on Mark! 3-2 up. You can do it. This is probably the hardest First Round tie any top 16 player could have hoped for.

                    @ montoya10: Nalbandian was a very good player when he was in the top 8... My favourite ever was Pat Rafter & now Andy Murray
                    He really likes the cat and mouse race after he mathematically loses the frame..

                      Speaking of Neil's progress throughout the tournaments, you're right. But I don't think it is a speciality for him, it sounds more like a general tendency for today's top players to me.
                      Could well be a general tendency, at least from R1 to R2 it seems it is so also for not the very top of the top players.
                      But then some are quite constant (Higgins sometimes seems to be; maybe Maguire in a few last tournaments, yes maybe he upped his game later on but just a bit);
                      And some get too tired/drained (or something else? maybe years are getting in too) towards the very very end - same Higgins reaching so many semis; Ronnie lost 2 finals this season (including PL).
