4-0 to John there. It depends what you consider atractive. I find serious approuch to every match, great breakbuilding, great safety shots, tough clearences by Higgins much more atractive than watching some "I'm awfull with the cue ball, but thanx to God i pot everything" type of players such as Robertson, Wenbo, Allen etc.

This is the reason I watched O'Sullivan v Bingham, but never had a look at Higgins v Judge, because the match had been decided before even it got started.All the way Mark J!!

Speaking of Neil's progress throughout the tournaments, you're right. But I don't think it is a speciality for him, it sounds more like a general tendency for today's top players to me.
But then some are quite constant (Higgins sometimes seems to be; maybe Maguire in a few last tournaments, yes maybe he upped his game later on but just a bit);
And some get too tired/drained (or something else? maybe years are getting in too) towards the very very end - same Higgins reaching so many semis; Ronnie lost 2 finals this season (including PL).Co-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.
