      • Guys, what is going on in Ronnie's match? I see it's 2-0 but how's it going, apart from the misses mentioned by cue1? I'm stuck at work and...yeah...not the proper thing to start the stream.
So please? Any details? How are they playing?

        Shirt colour, stuff like that...

Its 3-0 now, both players missing a few. Jamie has missed 3 blacks of the spot.... Ronnie can't knock a long one in either.

White shirt, clean shave... Looks calm but too many misses... He's 3-0 up now though!!!

            Come On Ron!!!

Edit: Mark fires a quick 73 to regain the lead... 2-1 now!! :snooker:

Well BC. As much as I know, Ronnie's in white shirt (meh!). Cannot tell about the match because I am stuck at work too But I guess Cope's play does not inspire our Maestro of the green baize.

                • Now that's more like it from Ron... A 60 to the pink gives him a 4-0 lead at the MSI

He looked composed & back in the groove during the entire break:snooker:

                  • Poor game by Jamie Cope. He is no match for the like of ROS. Frame 4 could be his but he didn't take the chance.

                    • It's like watching the 2008 World final. They could be playing for 3 days and Cope is never going to threaten him. He has completely shat his pants. Not particularly entertaining either.

O'Sullivan is not really playing well, he has missed quite a few balls, but still nowhere near Cope's standard. This is not really going to sharpen him up for the next round.

                      • Thank you, Harv, cue1, April, everybody for updates!
From what I've read on other forums, the scoreline is somewhat flattering to Ronnie, for Cope has missed way too many balls when in. That true?
                        Any good long pots?
                        From any of them?

If only it was just a lack of inspiration... That's my fear:

Whoever he meets in the next round will be not intimidated anymore. Especially if it's gonna be Allen - he likes to beat the top guys just for the very matter of beating exactly them (just from 'sports interest' ('spartivniij interes'), we have such a saying over here).

Black cat, if you saw Hendry's match yesterday, so it looks like each frame each of them misses at least 3 such greens that Hendry missed yesterday

I had an impression that Ronnie immediatelly caught how non coping Cope is and went for 147 instead of a frame winning break: at the start of 2nd frame when Cope messed up safety (or smth like that), and Ronnie had choice of reds, he took on a more diffuclt one where he had to strech, so exit onto the black wasn't that good and then he missed the black. (No impact whatsoever on how the frame ended, of course).

Long-pots: just a few it seems, both getting some and missing some. You know, then the other guy is simply missing there's no need for long pots to make a break unless one messes up positional play. Cope missing easy balls, getting in difficult ones (e.g. one such which need really good cueing when the red is in mid-table, and white somewhere around balk) later on just to miss again smth easy like black off the spot.

                          • Ronnie completes the whitewash!!! The score is definitely too flattering for him, he wasn't tested at all I'm really surprised at Jamie's performance, He's definitely much better than this

                              • I think I'm not overstating it if I say that Cope's performance today was the worst performance I've ever seen from any professional player on TV.

O'Sullivan didn't play as a title contender himself, but he didn't need to, so it's hard to say what kind of form he can produce. I have a feeling he'll be in trouble in the QF.
