No, Mark misses out on the century with a simple brown miss, still a 89 break is good enough to secure the whitewash..

So, a day, in which both of my favourite players won 5-0.. Am I supposed to be happy for that

PS: Message for Andrew Higginson.. You can't win a match by potting 14 balls in total, however, I'm confused if this is the same man that totally outplayed Marco Fu in the previous round..

Poor display from Higginson, his pot success must have been something like 65%, not that he had many chances. The way Williams played seemed to just totally destroy his confidence. Mark played very well, he will be a threat for anyone if he can keep this up.

Williams back in form is the best thing that happened to snooker all season.

Also, Williams is now ahead of Hendry on the ranking list (provisionally), which hasn't happened since 2004/05.
