Awesome stuff from Williams . his confidence is sky high at the moment and if he keeps this form up then it will take something special to beat him . His tactical play and allround game is something else , maybe only matched by higgins . I had a few quid on him at 14/1 considering his form coming from the masters I thought these odds were very generous .

He has a relatively easy draw until the final, which will keep him away from being drained, and save the very best for O'Sullivan / Higgins or anybody else good enough to beat these two..

Eurosport shows already finished Higgins-Dott game.. Snooker night ended very quickly tonight.

Raising all other ranking tournament winner points to 7000, and leaving this one at 5000 certainly did not help

I just can't believe a tournament with history is regarded as lowly as this.. Even the new born Shanghai Masters is treated like it is on par with Chine Open..

Poor management or poor attendance? A dilemma here..
