Ok, is the Welsh Open available to UK Freeviewers?

Only in Wales I think. From memory rest of the country got the final on the red button last year.

Sorry to have to tell you but I don't think the semi's and final are going to be on the red button this weekend, not according to freeviews EPG anyway. It's tennis and Sports news instead. Your only hope is Eurosport or Freesat.

I've only just found out I can get BBC2 Wales on freeview! It's on channel 817. I've had to retune my TV a couple of times in the last month or two due to the digital switchover so I must have got some new channels. I don't think there's any interactive coverage but it's on during the day 1-5pm.

There is no Welsh Open on my Freeview channels.
I noticed RG, that you were going to watch snooker on your laptop. Was it videos of games played earlier? If not, where did you find it, please?

I've been watching the bbc website to see what they show, but it seems to be pot luck, they tend to have it for definite when its on BBC wales, but then it will suddenly disappear and either some other random program appears or it goes away entirely. I resorted to asking people for streams whenever I wanted to watch something. I can't make head nor tail of what's going on with the actual BBC streaming.

The bbc wales coverage of is absolute pee poor...

It's only on 1-5pm and it don't matter where the match is at come 5pm they just cut it off, They might show a few highlights in the evening if they feel like, and that aint a lot...no snooker extra or nowt.... peeved me right off...

I've been watching most matches on 'fromsport' stream.

I'm going down to newport for tomorrows session, so that might make up for it a bit...

Thanks for the info, RCG. It seems to be on Eurosport, but I do not have Sky.

                        TV Streaming Coverage

It looks as if coverage is available online at http://www.fromsport.com/. You can also choose which table to watch. I havent tried it yet as I only found out this morn. Hoping to catch the Allen v Stevens match - Come on Mark!
