Shame it looked like he found form in quarters...3rd lose in a row at semis...

With all his struggling latelly it's more of an achivement - 3rd time in row reaching semis!

But Carter hasn't shown anything to prove me that he is on form..

He beat Davis, Robertson, Day and Maguire, and none of these players looked like playing well at all..

And I can't explain the frustration I feel towards Maguire right now.. It could easily have been Williams in the final against the classic's winner..

All of'em are very good players (at least on paper), especially Robbo & Mags and you can't really ask more of Ali than get past his opponent. I think he's done very well... He's defending his title quite nicely and who knows?! Maybe he's pacing himself to perfection & saving the best for last That is the correct strategy after all:snooker:

I do share your frustration regarding Mark J's exit, he's one of my all-time favourites And it's great to see him back to form & winning matches:snooker:
