Absurdly good snooker from Higgins. This is as close as it gets to being unplayable.

But nobody can keep this up surely. Especially Higgins has been known to put his foot off the gas before, and Carter needs to be ready to step up.

You must feel frustrated that he will have no chances in the Crucible, right?

It's beautiful & painful to watch at the same time

Ali hasn't really done much wrong!! It's just that John's playing near perfect snooker... :snooker:

Come On Ali!!! You will get a chance:snooker: You MUST get a chance!!!

Higgins is playing somewhat Ronnie played against Allen.. Shame he is too solid to go for a maximum yet. Maybe he'll relax after the first session and go for one in the evening..

I can't see who can stop him at the Crucible (except maybe Shaun Murphy)

And matoski, you can't be serious that Murphy is the only challenge Higgins will receive!!

Actually, Murphy has had a quite non-existent season, in my opinion, so, I would be surprised if he makes it to the quarter finals..

It's time for a steal for John. It looks like 5-0 allready

Murphy is scheduled to meet Ebdon in the 2nd round, and the winner of Day-Allen in the QF, so he's a strong favourite to reach the SF on paper.

Huh, got it wrong actually. He should meet Ding in the 2nd round, and then the winner of Carter-Perry in the QF, so not that easy.

Looks like 5-0.. Carter missed an unbelievable red and pays for it now..

Actually your first path seemed more dangerous to me. Ebdon can't be taken easily, and Allen can go on a hot run.

But anyway, my real wish is to see him out in the last 32..

At the moment it seems that Selby is the biggest challenge for Higgins, actually.

'cause otherwise he wins the 4th title?
...and someone else doesn't win it, accordingly?
