Are ANY of the qualifiers broadcast? It's a shame we never get to watch any of this

Nope, it is indeed a shame.

7, I believe. 3 matches in this preliminary round and 4 more from the last 96 stage onwards.

If he's drawn against Declan Hughes, who probably won't show up, then he's in luck.

With him having to win preliminary rounds to even prequalify for the qualifiers I think he requires 6 wins for a crucible place. He's on his way at least.

There are full draws to view on the new Global snooker but the techies are still working to perfect them, so bear with us.
The old ones I did are far too wide to fit in the framework of the new site.

and in answer to the question Tony Knowles would have to win seven matches to get to the Crucible.

                        Did Declan Hughes scratch again?

                        Mazrocis-Knowles 5:4 after first session.

The pros don't seem to be making many big breaks, but I guess these old guys will be trying to make things as scrappy as possible - it's probably their only chance.

Tony Knowles is leading Mazocris 8-6 and 36-13....he could win it and next in line will be Rodney Goggins...

                                9-6 now.

TBH im very surprised. Even if TK still does have his good days which im sure he must do as he was a major talent after all, but his best years are almost 30 years behind him. He hasnt even competed on the PIOS for a few years. I find it surprising he is playing well enough to be leading a main tour player. Unless the standard lower down on the main tour really isnt that high.

Ofcourse I may be reading too much into this though. Its just one match after all. And you cant assume too much about relative standards from that.
