2-0 now - I checked on line and incredibly Tony Knowles was 4-1 to win this game. couldn't resist throwing a tenner on it at those odds. I know Rodney Goggins is a main tour player and has to be favourite, but Knowles has just had three matches, got some confidence and was the world's no.2 player and Goggins has never done anything of note in his career. Goggins may still win, but it certainly wouldn't be a surprise if Knowles wins this one as well, although I'd be surprised if he beats Gould.

Yeah and 1-7 for Goggins. I thought Goggins would have been favourite, but thought something like 1-2 and 6-4 would have been more realistic.
Come on Tony! (and Jimmy tomorrow and then JP next week!)

That said, great though it would be to see Knowles at the Crucible, I can't see him getting past Davis in the final on the Nugget's home turf (at least, not again).Last edited by davis_greatest; 28 February 2009, 01:07 PM."If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.
