    • So the last of the matches are underway. TBH i dont think Ken Doherty has a hope in hell of winning. Greene is pretty dangerous and solid and takes his chances. Kens season has been a disaster. Hope he manages to regroup and improves for next season.

Davis seems to still be managing to hold his own agaisnt most of the lower ranked players that meet him in the last qualifying round. I really hope he does so again today. It would be great to have Davis grace the Crucible with another playing appearance, even if he is very unlikely to get any further than the first round.

Not exactly ... but if you have some health troubles like hypo-thyroïditis for instance it might prove a real challenge to keep fit even without eating much. So I would refrain to express any judgement on the matter.
And in any case it does not make his performance yesterday a single bit less remarkable.

        • Surely the Important thing here is how Stephen plays snooker...does anyone here have the right to comment on his size??? does it matter??

          • Thats true. Also, if people can argue about Lee's weight, you could go the other way and say that Trump (or others) don't have a water-tight technique like Lee.

            • How can someone coming back from 2-6 down to win a 2 session match be branded as UNFAIR? The man hung in there & let his cue do the talking which was a pleasure to see!

Did anyone think it was unfair for Ronnie to concede a 7-2 lead in losing a decider against Paul Hunter in the 2004 masters? Paul Hunter did what he had to do back then & Stephen Lee did what he had to do yesterday... Call it experience, call it hunger, call it solid snooker or even call it unfair Best man won on the day... GO STEPHEN :snooker:

              • One might also criticize Trump's hairstyle, if we're discussing the aesthetics of both players.

                • I'd go for that. Depending on which style he has adopted, if he has brushed more hair to one side than the other, he probably wasn't cueing straight.

                  • Kens gone 2-0 down. I wonder if hes going to suffer another whitewash.

                    • Here is a preview of what is to come in the future on TSF!!!

Live scoring - I have set up the Ian McCulloch match as a demo. The page refreshed every 60 seconds. You can click that refresh button all you like and it will still not update the page info, you will have to wait for the page to do that itself.

The proper version will update every 20 seconds.

Its not as fancy as the world snooker one but I have only spent a few hours on it so far, so things can only get better.

And the link is - http://www.thesnookerforum.com/scores.php

                      • Davis cant afford to go 3-0 down here, spick is a good break builder.

Looks like swail and davis are gonna have a tricky day

That would be putting it mildly for what Ken is going to have.

Not looking good for Davis either like you say. I think Swail will be ok though.

Looks like Davis will be on the sofa with Hazel on day 1

                            SPICK 3-0

                              • Maybe Davis peaked too early (at the Championship League).

Anyway, it's a long, long way before the match is reaching the finishing line, so impossible to know already.
