Agreed about Stephen too, I can understand the disappointment that an up and coming star like Judd has missed out this year but despite his terrific first session, Stephen did really well to hang in there and snatch it back. Was a lot like Hendry/Allen last year actually.sigpic

Without making detailed calculations but looking at the provisional rankings and the one year list, I think Matt Couch, Daniel Wells and Lee Spick all have good chances to stay on the tour as, although they aren't in the top 64 in the provisional, they are most probably in the top 8 yearly list of players not in the top 64... Matt wrote in his blog that Spick did enough to stay on the tour. That is good, it must be a shock when someone comes from 5-0 behind, let alone Davis with his vast experience of the game.
Now I would really love it if Davis would draw Ebdon. Also Hendry would do, but for other reasons. Second round will not be easy, no matter where he starts.
