i tried downloading off the box website and the videos dont seem to work i tried using DIVX powerdvd and quicktime all of them dont work maybe i need a codec ?

You can download a codec pack, or you can download the open source VLC player that has all the codecs embedded in it.

VLC is the most foolproof solution.
