I've picked out some of the matches.... Not too much support for Hendry, maybe Williams has been practisting loads.

Yes, seemed a bit surprising to me that Hendry is the only seed who is tipped to lose, by us collectively.

Unfortuantely for Hendry I guess its not surprising that a majority expect him to loose. I am surprised that many of the other seeds are expected to win by a total landslide majority of members on here though. There is bound to be some big upsets but not many people want to risk their predictions on an agaist-the-odds win.

Yes, my emphasis should have been on the 'only' when I wrote:

When the draw was made I immediately thought Williams would win but now I think Hendry will edge it. The really surprising stat for me is the Ebdon v Bond match, I know Ebdon won in China but I think Bond can cause plenty of problems and I wouldn't be surprised if he won.

Thanks, I'll use this when tipping mine; I'll do exactly the same as the majority and see how far it'll get me.

The huge support for Williams does surprise me. He has done very little in 2009.

I´m not so surprised by the landslide majority. You are absolutely right, there will offcause be some big upset, but I guess that the majority as well as myself expect most of the seeded players to win and the pick out a few matches, where they expect a surprise.
