  • Good century from Ding. I think he will take this 10-8 now.

    • I think we should all be treated to a deciding frame.

        • The last two frames showed how good Ding really is. If he will overcome his mental problems he can be one of the first 2 or 3 players in the world.
I think he reached a very high level too soon and that affected him....but in time maybe he will regain form and be again one of the players to beat.

          • Absolutely shocking, that last shot from Liang. Very strange to go for that when Ding only needs this frame to win

Indeed, it was his last shot of the match too. Well done, Ding, to come back there, he looked beaten.

I must say, though, a very entertaining match!

            • Well done Ding. This knocks King into 16th place so a good run from Cope may be the last hope to knocking him out.

Loved the kiss to the camera.

                • Hats off to Ding - he showed his class when it mattered & a kiss to the camera to boot!

                  • I am absolutely pleased with Ding's victory. The better player won at the end. I feel Liang lacks class and plays shots which are not appropriate at this level.

                    • I just hope he plays a little better in the first session against Hendry than he did last year.

                      • Good win for Ding, he played very well after falling 8-7 behind.

And the seeds keep on winning their matches..

Nah, too early to tell, he can still come back, he has shown that in the past

                            • The century in the 17th frame sure gave Ding quite a lot confidence to win the game.

Feels Ding has matured from his early games when he kept trying on all possible long shots and Liang seems like still to be in this stage and missing some difficult shots has definately cost him the match.

yea, love the kiss to the camera too

                              • Yeah, I'm still confident for Ebdon. I had Ding to win 10-7. That's the fifth match I've been one frame out!
