Yeah quite a few people tipped Gould which I was always a bit confused about as Allen on his day is one of the best in the world. Personally, I tipped Mark Allen to hammer him - the world championship is what he has been waiting for. One century and good solid breaks in the other frames - potting himself out of trouble when required, but poor blue there.

Greene over Carter was one of the more popular upsets being chosen here. In saying that, there is always upsets, and considering that Allen is young and that Gould is in decent form, its understandable.
