    • Yey! Go Mark!!
I have a feeling he's going to do really well this year.
Ignoring the scores last time they met: Watch out Dott!

      • Mark played well but will find it more tougher against Dott and could be a very close match.

            • in this match Mark didn't quite play to his potential
unless he steps up a gear he will be knocked out in the next round imo

I reckon that will change tonight. I think Fu/Swail has decider written all over it and Cope could blitz Perry.

Yeah, I was thinking that too!

Maybe Joe Swail can hold his nerve and play the snooker of his life to go through. But for me Steve Davis is going to stun us all with top quality pots and outstanding saftey Go Steve!!

                  • I think Cope will beat Perry & not just because i have him in the lucky dip either.

No, I do think Joe's got a good all round game but Cope is dangerous: it just depends how he's playing really.

                      • I wanted to post this but keep forgetting. I just want to say that I think Ballrun made a very good effort and played quite well. It was too bad he had probably the toughest draw, but I was very impressed with his play.
I am sure he will have at least one more go at this in the near future.
                        So, best wishes to him.
BTW, did not see any TSF on his bright red shirt.

                        • Can't quite understand why Liang is playing so slow. He is taking ages on straightforward shots and still runs out of position/misses. He was an exciting attacking player, and now he's like an erratic version of Mark Selby. The overall quality isn't very high either, so it's not a great match so far. Maybe it's the pressure..

                          • Tense frame won by Liang. Ding will be kicking himself as he should be at least 6-3 up.

I didn't use to like his reckless attacking style
but it seems to me that he has matured a little bit recently
