  • Postcard from Sheffield: Day 2

Well good evening folks from a very sunny Sheffield. Hope you've enjoyed the first two days' action from the new-look Crucible Theatre - not that it'll look all that different on your tellies!

It's been a fine start to the championship with some interesting matches. Been good to meet some fellow TSF members along the way.

To those of you who have seen Ferret's picture of me, please be reassured that that's not the way I normally greet people when meeting for the first time!

Anyway, not a lot more to say just now - another 10 o'clock start tomorrow so really ought to think about going to bed!

    As ever,
    Wish you were Here!

What a shame the weather is so gorgeous outside Statman - loved the pink t.shirt yesterday!

Wasn't he in one of the national newspapers last year about how much he spends on going to Snooker tournaments?

Well, it is nice to see someone who loves snooker so much. We need more youngsters to be interested in the game.
