I don't do text speak but I think I got the gist. The defeat of Ebdon deserves a forum of it's own, hopefully he'll never grace the Crucible again. He's odds-on to replace Clive next year, the world's gone mad.

And then ask in a new thread if anyone think Peter Ebdon will ever win the world championship again.

Then another one on the issue on whether he fixed his match with Nigel Bond and lost on purpose...

i can only assume your dislike for ebdon comes from his style of play because as far as i know he doesnt mame small animals, beat women or campaign for the bnp.... it must be a snooker thing.

if that is the case i can understand why you would be pleased he's out of the tournement, therefore you are saved from having to watch his negative tactics and safety play.

IF that is the case what i would ask is this...

Do you expect Nigel Bond to set the tournament alight now? the you think the standard of the 2nd round has improved with Bond through as opposed to Ebdon?

if not would you have started a similar thread expressing your relief at Bonds demise?

if you answered no to all of these then this thread is nothing more than a personal attack based on feelings that have nothing to do with snooker and this being a snooker forum, it really has no place here.

I don't believe anyone here is a "fluffy bunny we most love everybody" type. The point is, some people may like Peter Ebdon and posting to laugh about him losing is disrespectful. I personally am not an O'Sullivan and would quite like someone other than him to win the world championship, but I appreciate that people here like him, so if he were to be knocked out I certainly wouldn't send out a post laughing. I would keep my opinions to myself.
