Do you expect Nigel Bond to set the tournament alight now? the you think the standard of the 2nd round has improved with Bond through as opposed to Ebdon?

While I certainly don't take delight in any player's hopes being dashed, I share Fred's relief at Ebdon going out what with him being in Ronnie's half of the draw. Ronnie could have ended up playing seven sessions straight against two players renowned for their unethical tactics if Ebdon had made the quarters and Selby the semis. I don't know how he would handle that, but I think there could have been a good chance he would lose his head.
