No great surprise for me that Ronnie has lost. He has never successfully defended a world title, masters title or UK title so I didn't expect him to be crucible champion this year.

I'm not the biggest Ronnie fan, but to be fair to him, who really has defended those titles? Hendry and Davis?

Thats why those to are in a class of there own.

The scenes/emotions were great to see. But threads were started earlier stating how disrespectful, pathetic and disgraceful Graeme Dott's celebrations were but I have yet to see a thread about Hendry or Allen. Seems its ok for some but not others.

Usually slows down because there are less matches. I think it will be close but the pockets are playing so big I wouldn't be surprised if it goes. Its noticable in the way that there have barely been any scrappy or safety dictated frames.

I think emotions showing by Graeme was great.He was almost on the bottom during this season.So his win against Barry was response to people who said that he is finished.
I see little difference between Allen's reactions today.He should learn some respect to other players. Specially when he is winning with great style like today.

After the first session, when the score was 4-4, i placed a bet of 100 Euros on Allen...and now ive just won 450 ....not bad...although i wanted Ronnie to win, things are not that bad for me ....

I think something needs to be done about the schedualing of matches. Mark King finished his match last Sunday and has had to wait a whole to week to play Maguire who finished thursday night. Surely that can't be fair on King. Same goes for Carter who also finished on Sunday and will play someone who finished on Wednesday.
