      I certainly hope so.

Meanwhile, Hendry (and Ding) just earned me 2 points in the predictions contest, shame I've predicted Fu to beat Murphy..

      • Well especially to win against someone who barely missed a long pot throughout the match and whose pot success was around 92-94% is quite something.

        Murphy or Fu next right?

          • Great win for Hendry...it will take a brave person to think he wont make another World Final & even win an 8th title. Well played to Ding for playing his part in a epic match.

Eurosport commentators said it was the second time this week Ding smiled... ... sad he lost this match.

              • Truly riveting snooker there,
Stoked for Hendry and it was also nice seeing Ding looking a lot more relaxed and enjoying the game.

If Ronnie gets knocked out, then he has a chance. It all depends on that

                    • The problem for Hendry is he hasn't had his bad session yet. Hoping it doesn't come against Murphy.

He has alternative strategies, if he meets Ronnie, all based on the same principle: bore Ronnie to tears with slow safety play. Ronnie's most 'memorable' losses, such as against Dott, Ebdon, or even Selby, were when he himself declared having found the match boring. Ronnie hasn't looked especially sharp by his own standards, so it is very achievable.

                        • Really nice to see Hendry playing well again, and to see a little bit of emotion was nice, he seems so calm all the time and stone faced, god I'd hate to play him at poker.
-'Don't choke, don't choke, don't choke! aww I knew I was going to choke'-

Hendry has had two bad sessions, luckily Williams had them too though.

                              • Way to go Maestro!
You´ve got to love it when people say "the only person who can beat Ding i himself.... if he plays up to his standard, Hendry stands no chance..."

You must be an extremely ignorant to say that when a man who has won at the C seven times i Dings opponent, especially since Hendry crushed him last year!
