Well done John, another dramatic win. Starting to look like Ken in 2003 this.
Hope he doesn't burn out.sigpic

Unbelievable the level of concentration this man is capable of.
This has got to be one of the best pressure breaks of all time.
The match had 'decider' written all over it right from the start, and it took two great players to get there. Well done to both.

only one word for me..... gutted
This match really deserved to be played in the final
Mark is such a top class player but his main weakness is imo in wrapping up close matches
well Congrats to John
that was an exceptional performance and I really hope he wins his 3 world title from now onWinner of the China Open Fantasy Game 2010

Well I've saved my 600th post for this:
WELL DONE JOHN HIGGINS!
An unbelivable match, a truly deserving winner.
I really hope he's on his way to number 3.
I also hope Selby's role in this has been taken in. He gets a fair bit of stick on here for being unsporting or negative in his tactics. I've watched all 25 frames of this match I haven't seen any evidence of this.
Im pretty overwhelmed with the match I've seen over these two days. The two semi's could be up there tooFantasy Game Overall Winner 09/10 - World Championship 2009 Fantasy Game Winner - Seasonlong Prediction Contest Overall Winner 09/10 - Seasonlong Prediction Contest Runner-Up 08/09 - UK Championship 2010 Prediction Contest Winner - Rileys @ Chorlton Pool Team Merit Winner 07/08, 09/10:snooker:

Fantastic. This has to be one of the best matches of all time, certainly one of the best I've ever seen. It really had everything. Started off with 4 centuries and a 90+ in the first session, peaked with one of the greatest safety duels in recent years midway through the final session, and finished with a twice re-racked decider. Did John Higgins ever look like missing at the end? I can't find a bad word to say about the man.
I feel bad for Selby, for me he has been the second best player in the tournament so far. I think he could have met John Higgins in the final, had that been possible.
Big day for snooker.
