yeah its wide open from here i dont think you could write off any of the players still in it.

If i had to choose i think the final will be between the winner of higgins vs selby and murphy but im hoping it'll be robbo instead

i think i know what your saying Roy, and if i'm right your not alone.

in light of his performance tonight and of course the result i honestly don't think Stephen Maguire will ever be World Champion though i've lost count of the amount of times i've said it on this forum before, tonight was exactly what i expected to happen, what form he showed in the previous 2 sessions dissapeared.

the qf here against perry and the trounching off ronnie in UK final last year convinced me he wasnt a pressure player and you need to be to win this tournament.

As it happens he may turn out to be the second greatest player to never be world champion

Yes, I guess a lot of "wishful thinking" votes went to Hendry and the fact that he was playing Murphy didn't help. Still, Higgins might have taken most of them anyway.
