Am I right Hendry is the oldest player to make one in professional play? (ignoring Joe Davis in 1955)

I think so. Just glancing through the official list the nearest contender looks to be Drago in 2002, he was 36. The next oldest player to make a televised one seems to be Thorburn - 35 in 1983.

Well done Mr Hendry, I very nearly missed it, as i had to go into town to get some ink cartridges to print off my coursework. If my printer hadn't been playing up i would have left 10 minutes beforehand!

that was ****ING INSAINE by hendry, unfortunatly i was at school, but watched the reply just now, for hendry to come and play and even win matches is fantastic, but to make a maximum 14 years after his first one is just in-cred-ible!

Tell me about it.. and I didn't even want to take art anyway, it was just a fourth subject to slot into the timetable. If I had picked Biology I would have my exams in a few weeks time and therefore would've had today off... if only I thought it through
