  • Anyone else noticed the hideous cue on the highlights?

Anyone else noticed this thing lyng on the table at the front of the picture on the highlights program???
Ignore "matching grain" the woods not even the same colour! Surely they could have done better than that? Every other year I remember they've had one or two at least nice looking cues on the table.

Yes mate it was the first thing i spotted in the WC. In the masters it was a JP on the table i believe. This year i think someone forgot to get one off JP and had to run off down to the local JJB sports with a fiver in petty cash

this might be a long shot..but the first thing i've noticed about this picture was the table cloth! i don't know if it's the photo, but appears like there's two different green tones. just below the black ball, like somebody covered the table with two different cloths or is it just me?

It might be the photo. Even the right hand of the person behind the table is discoloured.

Not the best picture.... I think its just the picture... the cue can't be excused though.

It was there every single day, and kept moving! It started there, then it moved to the right, then it moved to the left so you could only see the top half (and not see how bad it was), then it moved back again... It was my pet hate of this WC...
And it moved during the frames... the balls never moved but half the time they went back to the studio between frames and it had moved to a different place. I think they were reading my posts about it on here and just trying to annoy me

I've seen Steve Davis do demonstrations with the cue on the table before, this year he didn't even touch it... I wonder why

You guys are so shallow. Judging the cue purely on its looks when you don't know anything about its personality.

Maybe Shaun Murphy will ask it to "dance".

I just didn't get why they kept moving it, unless they were reading my posts about it on the forum... If there was a head exploding smiley it would have been used a lot

                          Only good-heartedly.
Anyway, you can write it down to me being an insensitive Eurosport viewer.
