Well, I stand by my opinion. I don't believe there's a rule that says you have to like watching every player to be a "true" snooker fan..
I said that it would not be as enjoyable to watch, for me. I don't happen to prefer seeing Higgins or Murphy play over some other players, such as Robinson, Ronnie, Hendry, Allen, Selby... I will definitely watch and enjoy the final, just not as much as if a player I was rooting for was playing.

from 14-7 down robbo only missed 1 really bad shot the pink in frame 29 ao im really proud of him
frame 30 i just couldnt believe it robbo had small lead twice he tried to open the reds and both times he landed on nohting he tried to attack and got nothing from then i knew it wasnt his night because whe the run of the ball leaves a player near the end of the match you just know whats going to happen
15-15 it would have been a 50/50 match but sadly robbo had no luck when it really mattered
murphy played really well but the run of the ball in frame 30 was a key factor in deciding the match
this expereice will help robbo whe he reaches the latter stages of big events in the future
he will win the biggest events in snooker the uk championship and the worlds its only a matter of timeRobbo Unbeatable in ranking finals 6 out of 6
COME ON ROBBO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it would've been difficult for just about anyone to compete against Shaun Murphy after the MSI at 14-14 - Robbo hardly got a look in, but can still take many positives from this Championship.
There is every chance that next year he will come back better & stronger, & i have no doubt he will be World Champion by 2012."Statistics won't tell you much about me. I play for love, not records."

He will be back, he now knows what it's like with the one table situation

It's not gonna be interesting at all.
I've watched every final of the tournaments so far (since I started following snooker) no matter who was playing, but not this time.
The tournament lost I think... Because, no matter what the score was, Neil was always up for a laugh, the audience had fun, everyone who was watching had fun, he made this tournament - a tournament to remember!
And, here is what I'm talking about. (even the first shot, he missed it by a lot, still smiling!)

"My immortal" was the song that went with my mood yesterday... or "4:AM Forever"...
but, today is a new day, feeling better already, thanks to Brettski, and my dear friend Amelia... (who is a BIG Neil fan too and was crying yesterday too lol )
and, come to think of this... It has been good for Neil.. first semifinal, and I also heard from trusted people that he is happy (as always) and looking forward to the next championship. The bright side is, I won't see his girlfriend on TV (I have nothing against her really, I think she's nice, except it wouldn't be pleasant for me as you know.. ).I'm back!:].
