Great break by Higgins and great display of midle pocket potting.

John Higgins has been really impressive here. He leads 6-2. Commentators mentioned the table conditions are significantly different from what they were in previous rounds. While Mark Allen keeps struggling, John Higgins has adapted and after the MSI has played some really excellent stuff!
It's also obvious that John has put the pressure on Mark and it's showing. Mark's confidence looks seriously rocked. He has to win or at least tie in the next session if he's to stay with a chance in the match.Proud winner of the 2008 Bahrain Championship Lucky Dip

Higgins is a mature and consumate pro.
Opponent misses... punish.
Workman-like... steady-as-she-goes.
Crafty... and not just in getting the points lead... but in battering Allen up psychologically
for the next round.
The thwack of those doubles right in the heart planted a serious "What if?" in Allen's brain.
I hope he can get over it overnight.
Today consider Mark schooled.

A lot of kicks too, they ironed it and changed the balls at the interval and it seems to be slightly better, if not as good as earlier in the week.sigpic
