After the second round my prediction bracket was in ruins. I picked Ronnie to win. However, based on the play to this point in the event I have to say that Higgins is the current favorite to win it all.

Watching Higgins play like this it's hard to imagine how anyone is going to beat him.

Oh dear. John is playing well, but Mark is really struggling. He started bad as did John, but John got a 3-1 lead when the scoreline could have been anything and he has stepped up since then and Mark has found no rhythm. Can he get respectability in the score now? Grasping at straws here but if he finds some form and wins the next mini session 3-1 to get back to 11-5 and then just try and win the next session 5-3 to get back to 14-10 he has at least got a respectable scoreline back with just a glimmer of hope for final session, but as someone else said if it keeps going like this it won't have a final session like Ronnie-Stephen last year.

As much i appreciate the way John Higgins has played in this semi-final in some ways it's becoming painful to watch! Being the optimist i am i hope the MSI may change things but i think that's asking an awful lot.

He's not playing well, but not getting any run either - and of course that can affect you mentally - if you getting bad luck and your opponent is on fire, it is harder than ever to get your game firing. Come on Mark, win the next three!

Oh dear, 83 % pot success versus 95 for Higgins! Allen has yet to make a even a half-century. It's different classes out there.

It's always the way though when your playing really well you get a good run of the balls! Not taking anything away from John's performance in this match though.
What a ROAR from the crowd Mark would get if he could win this frame..
