PS Lets not turn this thread into a Murphy bashing.
True, good point he's a great player and I am glad to see him in the final, capable of great snooker.

I was going for 'one of the best ever' rather than just 'generation,' angle there.

I like the slow motion camera views, have they done that before? I didn't watch from the beginning, so I didn't hear the commentators talking about it...

Rarely but glad to see them wheel it out so we can see bad contacts etc in the match.

Very early to call but nice to see Higgins eager and ready to pounce on things.

                  BAFFLING.
Not really? Everyone has favourite players and they don't have to include these two. It'll be a good final I'm sure but there are a fair few players I'd rather see up there.

To be fair to John of the players in the top half he is one of my favourites there. From the bottom though I can see at least 9/10 players I'd rather see there and that's nothing to do with anything in the press.

Looks like it could be 3-0 to John Higgins here.

3-0, very early days but Murphy could do without letting John get too far ahead...

Aye good start to help settle him down. I expected him being more tired than this so I'm pleased.

With that long pot looks like Higgins has come to show the youngster what to do

John missed an easy one there!
