I don't fancy Robertson getting to the very top either. I just think that by 2014 there will be better players around. By then he'll be what, 32 too? Might just be past his peak.

I know I'm a bit late, but I thought that the MSI piece about predictions was really interesting. Exciting to see Mark Allen thought highly, and Robertson. Where was fantastic Fu though?? I definitely think Murphy and Selby will be near the top, and hope that Ronnie will still be playing!
As for commentators, there's another Willie Thorne fan here. I think his commentary is spot on, and always interesting to listen to. He's also quite deadpan, earlier on in the match he said "as my colleague John Virgo would say, 'where is the white ball going?'" With his posh accent and diction, it was so funny.

good point but murphy is only 6 months younger than robbo and maguire is a year older than robbo so do you think they will be past their peak as wellRobbo Unbeatable in ranking finals 6 out of 6

fair point i think though robbo has develped a better safety game in the last season or so and that should also help his longevity in the gameRobbo Unbeatable in ranking finals 6 out of 6

Very poor from the BBC and very poor first session from Shaun. Higgins will be a relieved man as he looks to be taking a lead of some description into tomorrows 3rd and maybe 4th session.Always play snooker with a smile on your face...You never know when you'll pot your last ball.
