Quite a stunning tournament, but I like it, kinda Davis Cup of snooker. And doubles with shot by shot is cool idea too.

Does anyone have a breakdown of how the PM will be shared out ?
Winner $200,000
Runner-up $100,000
Semi-finals $60,000
Quarter-finals $30,000
Third in group $15,000
Fourth in group $12,500
Fifth in group $7,500
High break, group stage $5,000
High break, knock-out stage $15,000

Group A
The most surprised result is Pakistan defeated Ireland, which Sahid Aftab defeated both Doherty and O'Brien.
Now Egypt and Germany are in battle, tied 1-1 at present. In Africa, Egypt, Libya and South Africa are the top gear, especially Egypt; Germany is in the bad status because of bad result in Europe events. In my opinion, Germany does not sure to win.
Group B
This group is normal today, Australia and China both defeated Thailand-1 and Malta. In the early stage, Thai-1 was doing well; but after the doubles match, Thai-1 made main mistakes and lost. Afterwards, the situation turns one-sided.
About China vs Malta, I didn't watch yet but I know Ding made a break of 120 to win.
Group C
The main focus is Brazil defeated Belgium. Whatever Igor Figueiredo does not attend or the opponents are professional and talented, they still took the victory; Haneveer did not in the good condition.
On the other side, Northern Ireland swept India 4-1, Allen seems in good fit.
Group D
After wedding, Marco still not in the condition, and Fung had a little bit decline at recent, finally lost. But Kacper Filipiak got his first win during being professional, will he be same as Luca Bresel?
Although Thailand-2's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh wins all matches, but Passakorn Sunwannawat lost all single matches, almost lost in first round.

Blazes, what a crap that Germany-Egypt match was (2-3). I would be happy if my opponents in the locals would performe likewise.
Despite this, the format of play seems to me very incompelling. Leave alone that alternate shot in doubles (scottish doubles?) a perfect format for a team competition.Ten reds and not a colour...
