I saw only the doubles from from England, apparently they took it 3-2 against Belgium;

I saw the full match of Ireland-Egypt. That was one of those you know...first 3 frames in 3 hours they picked up the pace with the last 2 though;

Now watching the China-UAE last frame 2-2 with Wenbo in lead, but just missing on his way to seal the frame!

Ken seems frightened to go for a pot nowadays, even when the odds are well in his favour.

I saw all of England vs Belgium last night, but I'm undecided on the format. I dunno if it's a interesting format, or just something that's a bit dull. And I don't like the doubles frames very much.

Maybe it's going to take a while to get into. I do like the idea that they only used to the top-ranked player from each country. Makes it feel more prestigious, rather then a lower ranked player that would sell more tickets. Makes the tournament seem more prestigious if you need to be the country's high ranked player to get in.

Through the joys of having parents who have Sky Plus, lol. I got her to tape the afternoons play. Though I only watched the England game, cos I wanted to get home early.
