Anyone know how the overseas qualifyers are agreed - do they play to qualify or are they nominated?

She's got a good track record over the years in World and European Ladies events with semi finals etc to her credit.
Last time I was looked she was ranked about number 4 on the Norwegian "mens" ranking list.Janie Watkins

perhaps the asian invitee called off. or WSA fusioned the asian and the Thailand qualifier (Thepchaiya Un-Nooh). The benefit took Wells as the best amateur in PTC rankings at the moment.Lucky Dip history:

Obviously, if an oversea player or Uk cannot make it, World Snooker now implement the rule, that a wildcard can take their place. This is a much fairer system than allowing a player to get a walk-over into the next round.
We were crying out for this at one time, when so many players were getting byes because there opponants did not turn up. Mainly in the pios though. But i am glad Hearn has introduced this rule to the main tour, to stop players getting byes and points they may not deserve, only by way of a walk-over.
I know its harsh on Jamie, but i would prefer this, as before the system was totally unfair.
