i read at rolf kalb's blog, this was part of the letter, wsa sent to the players last friday. i dont have a second source on that...

german eurosport website sometimes is a lot of boulevard and rumors, but the snooker section is reliable, imo

i understand that seeded loser = looser in his first match. the opponent doesnt matter

this tournament will cock up the rankings good and proper Random Draw + best of 5s + 7,000 ranking points to the winner will potentially turn the rankings on it head.

jamie burnett gets 630 points but im not sure about the first round i got to be honest because that was their first match

but on the tariff it says 910 and seeded loser 455 but everyone came in at that round and amateurs don't get points.
