I have to agree with you regarding the format, we get to see all matches and we also get to see all the players under some pressure:snooker:
Though I was supporting Dotty, I have to say I enjoyed the first match especially the last 2 frames:snooker:

The BBC commentators are fine in most ways but Virgo in particular has been frustrating today because as usual they talk about the event marking the start of the season and as if tournaments that aren't on the BBC don't exist. Not unsurprising I guess but annoying all the same. Clive Everton is the exception to that of course.

Is anyone seen the new live scoring via the world snooker site, i cannot work out who is currently at the table. The old version had a nice marker but it seems to missing at the mo, that or the current score could be a different colour but at least is online this week.

If you click on "view game", you'll see a pointer pointing in the direction of the player who's currently on the table and you'll also see the current break!
