Jimmy was unlucky when he tried to split the reds...he had a very tough shot at middle pocket....he looks better though, more solid...

A good game without 90% percent potting.
Like I said on another thread, Ronnie is starting to miss the odd shot when amongst the balls (he did so twice in the 3rd frame) and it's only those opponents that can capitalize who would defeat him.
Very rarely you see Ronnie with a pot success below 90% so Jimmy had a good chance today!Winner of C77's Masters Fantasy Game 2010

Superb interview with Ronnie on the BBC and it was a nice bit of sportsmanship on the miss.
Really good game."Statistics won't tell you much about me. I play for love, not records."

Thought Jimmy did well to be fair as he didn't have the run of the ball or get left with alot when Ronnie missed.
I'm sure had Jimmy been playing a lesser player he might have done better looking at the standard this week, although that said maybe he needed to play a great player to bring out the best in himself.
Taking into account the passage of time that none of us will beat he's just lacking that bit of match sharpness & confidence you only get from playing in the later stages of tournaments, but potted some good balls under pressure & a couple of nice breaks which was nice to see.
Would have loved to have seen it go 2-2 & have a decider but it wasn't to be.........Last edited by CueAntW147; 23 September 2010, 01:07 PM.

Love that comment from Dennis during the 1st frame of Fu/Higginson, when Willie said "now that ive had my eye surgery ime thinking of making a comeback, i could play against you in the Legends tour" Dennis quick as a flash said "your not good enough for that Willie"
