That was very dramatic.
Ding cut a devastating red into the bottom, only to miss a possibly match-clinching green to the left middle..

I held my breathe and did not let it go until Ding played the green!!

Very solid snooker from Ebdon, I'm glad he's through. I can't help but think "don't try this at home" when I see some of his wicked shots.

The tournament has been a success no doubt about that, so I think it deserves a Williams vs. O'Sullivan.

Sure, Ebdon fluked the red, but the snooker he got off 2 cushions to land behind the virtually non existent gap from cushion to yellow was fantastic.

Defensive-minded players are a joy to watch, unless they go as far as deliberately turning away open tables and still trying to play negative..
