2pm Peter Ebdon vs Ronnie O'Sullivan
followed by - Mark Williams vs Neil Robertson

All week, I waited for an O'Sullivan vs Williams final showdown and I'm still going for it..

It should be a pot-fest in Williams vs Robertson, though I expect Mark to come on top

no-one is expecting the world champion to win this and defend his world open title. I can't see anyone beating Neil Robertson. I also have a feeling it will be an Ebdon - Robertson final aswell. O'Sullivan said himself its all downhill after his maximum and wins over white and hendry, i think he'll **** it up

With only 4 players left it's still really difficult to pick the eventual winner. Ebdon is the less likely out of the four remaining, though I never expected him to get pass Gould.

Two mouth-watering semi-final matches on offer which should provide some high quality Snooker..

Hoping Williams wins the tournament. History is against Robertson - no one has defended a ranking title since O'Sullivan (Welsh Open).

Peter Ebdon : The dull one but snooker needs characters like him too.

I prefer this best of five rather than 6-ball.

I've been watchin Ronnie and Mark all week and have loved every minute, so I hope to see them meet in the final.

It's a great line up though. In one match we have the master-of-quickfire O'Sullivan against the "slow and steady" battler that is Peter Ebden. I will certainly be waiting to see how Ronnie is feeling. From what he said after playing White, he loves watching those players, the ones that are like him and White. From what I've watched of Peter over the years, he is nothing like them in many respects...

And in the other match there's who I like to call 'the back-spin King', Neil Robertson. I don't need to remind anybody of his fantastic potting abilities, and positional play, but I did anyway! And who better to play but the equally as talented in the potting sector Mark Williams. Williams' fight against Ding Junhui shows everybody that he wants this title, and he will battle through the most daunting-looking scenarios. I reckon this will be a game of chance with both players taking the aggressive stance.

As for a prediction, I believe that it will be Ronnie O'Sullivan against Mark Williams.

I think Ronnie will come out attacking to throw Peter into the pressure pit, and relieve pressure on himself, so he can play his attacking style with more comfort. With the greatest respect for Peter Ebden, I think Ronnie's form will be no match for him.

Whilst Neil Robertson has great talent and and amazing cue action to suit, I believe that Williams' urge for this title and his ability to fight his way out of the corner will just edge it for him.

I say these things on a biased view however, because I have only been watching Ronnie and Mark, with the exception of Hendry ofcourse!

Do i shout for my local boy Mark? or do i shout for ron if it is a mark/ron final. hmmmm... i can't decide.

I think i'll just have to sit on the fence if it is a mark and ron final.

Let's just hope Mark can do neil over first tho is it, and well, ron might do ebdon like...:snooker:

I also like the both of'em and I hope they do well... Let's just hope it goes to a decider if they both make the final and give us a memorable match I'll be happy if either of'em lifts the trophy:snooker:
