  • I've uploaded all the matches I've managed to record, including today's semifinals, here
    http://www.mininova.org/tor/2579281
I think it will be faster this way - because I have a very slow outgoing connection, and it takes ages to upload files somewhere.

Dear mods, if it's not allowed to post such links here - delete this post please

thanks alot, but you could have uploaded it to a private tracker website (www.uknova.com) as on public tracker, they tend to have alot of leechers, but hardly no seeds. I recommend uknova, because they're quite a few snooker fans there who upload snooker,

      • There are usually rules on such trackers - not allowing incomplete matches, allowing only English commentary (some videos obviously have no commentary at all).
And besides, not everyone has accounts on uknova.

I know, but I always find private trackers much more reliable for seeds than public trackers. With public trackers, people download then deliberately leech, so less people are able to download it quicker. Also, uknova accounts dont cost any money, its free to join.

            • Yeah, happy for Shaun! And thanks darrus and snookerfan92 for the vids (and Happy Birthday darrus, btw! ).

As for the format, I must say I'm not a fan of this 6-reds game, but I understand the purpose, ie. making it easier for local amateur players to score some points, even big breaks and win some frames (but it also becomes WAY easier for the pro's!). Well, I guess it's also made to shorten the duration of the first matches, in order not the bore the audience with long safety battles...

And let's hope Eurosport will fix this damn annoying camera angle!

              • Yeah but saying that, the audiance was next to nothing for the 6 reds matches and grew as the number of reds grew

or is that just the usual not many people there at the stat of a comp compared to everybody wanting to be there for the final? who knows.

                • Congratulations to Shaun

Don't know if it's because of 6-reds format, or because Friday was a working day (wasn't it?), and then, if John was playing on Friday - who knows, maybe the audience would have been much bigger.
And I too hope they'll do a better work with camera angles. But then again, at least we've got to see the tournament, so I'm not going to complain too much about camera work.

And I must say I'm not too impressed with 6-reds or even 10-reds snooker. It's like watching partial recording of normal frame.
                  Maybe I'm a traditionalist?

                  And thatnk you, GryZnook
