The standard of Walden v McLeod game is poorest I've seen for a looooooooooong time. Or ever. Painful, frustrating, sad... I feel sorry for the guys.

It's amazing how these long matches turn, every year amazing comebacks and turn arounds!!! Fu is the same player by name but he's totally different today, just SO far removed from the fluent break making player yesterday!!

As quickly as Fu's form has deserted him today, he could soon turn it around. He has the class and experience to do so.

Something tells me we could be looking at another match that will go to the wire..

Yeah, things could still turn round, but he had missed some shockers today - I did fancy Gould to win this match and actually think he could go further in the tournament, but he has been helped today by Fu. If Gould does get through, he'll need to move up a gear, which I think he can do.

Fu can be like that - quite inconsistent - can beat O'Sullivan, Higgins and the like, but can be quite disappointing as well. That's the thing with Hendry I expect he will have one good session against Selby, but the other two he will struggle...

I expect a good match tonight between Stevens and Mark Allen.

Fantastic result for Gould, best he could have hoped for, great performance, I think I owe him a pint!! 6/5 at the start, wish I'd backed hiim at 3-6, but it's still a great result for my accumilator!!! Well played Martin!
