LOL we all wish it to be the case but, believe me, Carter played very poor, apart from his 78 he scored 2 or 3 40s, some of the balls he missed!! Dott wasnt much better, he got a century, apart from that a VERY poor session at pro level, I'd backed over 14.5 50 breaks too, only 2 50s in 8 frames at pro level??? Usually you'd get those in the first 4, very often 5 of 6 or more 50s in the first session of a match at the worlds, feel very sorry for the punters, William's match was a lot better!!! At least it's close so my money MAY still happen!

Why has everything got to have to be mapped to betting punters? I'm a watching punter and I thought it was a terrific session of snooker. Tension, nerves, misses and some great steals from Dott.

It doesn't, 4 all would have been a fair result, the odd frame should have nerves and pressure at the end, maybe at the end of a pivotal frame in the session before the interval or the last frame of the session but no one turns up to see a session that poor, one of the worst in terms of standard i've seen in a few years, that's not the point of watching pro snooker, If I'd wanted to see a session like that I'd have gone to one of the better snooker leagues and watched 2 of the top 3 in the table, Dott can scrap all day and I quite like him as he's fluent in the balls nowadays, but Carter is either on, or totally off lol Allen vs Stevens was a perfect session of pro snooker, some breaks lots of tension and a decider, that was the first session lads, what's it gonna be like if it carries on like that all the way through? You may not agree and that is your right but when I see pro snooker a bit more quality (and I dont mean 7 50s and a century, 4 50s would do, for a good mix), Carter will be sick in the dressing room after that, still cant work out how it's 5-3 dott! lol

Trump - Gould had a very interesting opening session, and could turn into a really great match. I expect it to go the distance, and I think Trump will win the photo finish.

What's the deal with the "TON UP" and "GREAT SHOT" flags? Very silly.

Im glad I didnt tbh, was watching other table!!! That was before I knew about the bbc snooker website (on bt vision that ive got I can only get one table), on bbc snooker site I can see both at once, what I'm watching now, sounds a bit like Dott vs Ebdon from a few years back!! I've gone 5 times to crucible and always have a decent to classic match luckily for me! Did feel a bit for the punters who were on the "wrong" side in the mcleod walden session! lol meanwhile back at the ranch. . . what a start between allen and hawkins, gone for allen to win, 'MON MARK!!! lol On other table I've gone for Trump and Gould NOT to go to a deciding frame!

It will be, hopefully Trump does really well, 13-11 Trump for me! That could get quite tense!!

Trump Gould no deciding frame for me is going well for now, gouldie knocking in breaks early in the session, great stuff!! Allen lucky there, but 2 all is fair at interval, both have made mistakes too, Barry not played THAT well to deserve to be 3 1 up I dont think! Shoudl still be close going into the second session of their match!
