What a frustrating frame for Hendry.

Selby even did it without getting the free ball, and he gave 6 points away himself during that exchange.

Just got back from another excellent afternoon at the Crucible. Would love to go again but no more money left and tons of work to do, so thats it for me for live snooker Again fantastic atmosphere; I don't think there is a bad seat in the Crucible. Completely different from when I went to the Masters in 2004 and was actually disappointed with the place. What are others' opinions of other venues?
Hendry was v unfortunate, just didn't get the run of the balls. It seemed everytime Selby missed he left Stephen with a snooker, totally by chance. Good potting and break-building from Selby...definite WC contender. I don't remember the Hendry - Doherty match, but the one that sticks was the 2004 Masters final, PH 7-2 down against Ronnie, and then 5 centuries to win it 10-9. That was the best I remember watching. PH was defintitely The Man with the Golden Cue!
BTW--what has Selby done to earn the moniker 'jester'...apart from the rhyme with leicester?
