I think that is the point, Selby came back because it was worth a shot, even an outside shot, why not?? And while I do beleive that he will have no problem admiting that he did get lucky several times, I think that he should have been more gracious, he shouldn't have celebrated like he acheived something amazing, he did won because of something incredible but taking full credit for it was an error. I think Hendry was annoyed from the frame earlier, if Selby was so ready to make fun or make light of his incredible good fortune maybe he should have been equally as disarming about Hendry's misfortune at his hands.

No way should Selby be criticised for playing on, even if he didn't get the Snookers. You never gift frames if you have a glimmer of hope. Never. It's a competition, not a friendly or exhibition. Maybe the fact Hendry is taking a battering has annoyed people and they are looking to let off some steam.

However, Selby's attitude is a different matter entirely. He thinks he's funny. He's not. He has to be centre of attention and it's actually quite sad. Especially in match play when there is an opponent to consider. That said, Hendry was entering into the banter as well at times. Although Selby has acted like this in the past and he really should take a step back.

Never should you be criticised for playing for Snookers. Especially if you get them.

You can then argue that as long as there are two balls on the table you have a chance no matter how slim. Playing on for snookers is backward and IMO is desparate, ok selby is so far infront that it might not seem desparate. But to want to win that frame so badly and deny SH the chance to go 5- 11 for me is a sign of desparation and is why Selby won't win the WC.

well so far he's doing himself no favours, he's got higgins where he needs him, yet his potting is dire especially positional play.

This looks terrible for McLeod, if he can't beat Higgins now. . . all Rory has done is make himself look so far out of his depth that he can't beat higgins on his E game, his style of play cueing down on EVERYTHING, which I noticed before the commentators pointed it out, I THOUGHT he did that when I saw him this afternoon, it's a shocking standard for a Worlds match, the sooner Higgins wins the better, there's no other player I hate watching, McLeod is the only one, because I know he can play different, and a lot better than this, this is the biggest match of his life, if he can't prove why he should be there (higgins has done it loads of times in the past and is a proven winner) then rory shouldnt be there.

I hope he doesnt qualify next year, this is horrible for the punters, poor people must be bored to tears, it's like going back 40 years to a different era for god's sake! This has annoyed me now, because it's so poor that it's damaging for the image of the game, imagine if a casual fan watches this match rather than ding bingham?
