Ragarding the high breaks and 147's ;- It wouldn't surprise me if no one makes much of an effort to get a big break. Why should they? You don't get rewarded. I wouldn't be surprised if the players have drawn up an unofficial rule betweeen them and purposly not get a 147, so the prize money is re-installed.

Cutting that red would've been ridiculously risky. Would for sure stay in the jaws if he missed and the white would be travelling into all sorts of balls at pace. Snooker was the right choice, he just made a royal mess of it.
