Your forgetting they these guys are professional sports men, which means that yes they take pride in their achievements, but they also need to feed there family’s, pay their bills and costs. 10K is a lot of money but if you were a first loser and this was the only tourney you qualified for and you had made a 147, I don't think 10k will help you that much or the thought of having achieved it. I think 50K would be a fair amount of money for a maximum.

Great stuff tonight. Probably the best session of the tournament so far, taking both tables into account.
Ding has now done this sort of comeback in two successive tournaments. I wonder if he has enough fight in him so stand up to Selby in the QF. It should be an interesting match.
As for O'Sullivan and Murphy, some classic shots towards the end of that one as well. But at the same time both players made a couple of mistakes that you can't really afford to make, not if you want to win the tournament. Having said that, Higgins was making them as well, so it should be interesting to see if either player can raise their game in the QF.
