if one ever does make the effort of century/frame in their both careers (i made a post about earlier this year, something like "the true century master"), one would then really find out who is the greatest in this field. if anything i wont be surprised if it werent for them.
but amongst the 3, i pick ronnie, not because im a ronnie fan, but because ronnie's breakbreaking has always been highly emphasized from break-building aroudn the black spot area, especially screwing into the pack from the black. the black adds a lot of value.

hear me out. about the black area bit, hendry in the 90s and early 00s didnt come across to me like that. ie. when the first pot is made after the break off shot, hendry seems to try come around back to the blauk area. ronnie more often tries to hold for the black, i tihnk (off the top of my head of course, correct me if i am wrong about this )See new updates: http://cueporn.tumblr.com/

his lack of compromise & attacking policy has cost him matches as well as won him some mind you.
it's not all about centuries either, remember the 60's, 70's & 80 breaks which stephen used to make frame after frame in his prime.
they're both immense around the black spot but stephen was more consistent when he was playing well.

Selby is feeling it big time now. Missing balls he hasn't looked close to missing previously. IMO he peaked against Hendry and the come down after that might just damage his confidence. Ding can only throw this match away for me, unless Selby starts the gamesmanship which we all know he does when things aren't going in his favour. Suddenly the jester stops having fun and becomes mr sly.
