Higgins will indeed feel like there was a good chance of being 5-3 in front, but then again, the frame where O'Sullivan missed the final brown could have gone against him as well.

Higgins didn't throw away as many chances as yesterday, he looks up for it. On the other hand, O'Sullivan was much better from distance. Even the pots he missed got pretty close, which is unusual for him to be honest.

I think it will indeed go close, with Higgins remaining the favourite for now.

I was looking this one, great match, MJW made some great steals, his pot success was I think 95%, Mark Allen made some great breaks but stopped somewhere around 60 3 times which was not enough. 3 centuries so far, 2 by Allen, one by Mark. Great match I think

I agree that if a player needs 4 or more snookers they shouldn't carry on, if they need 3 and the balls are quite good then fair enough, but after 10 minutes of playing for snookers all but the hardcore are bored

Well, I wouldn't agree with that. If I think there is no chance in hell the player in question will get the snookers, then it can be pretty boring. But on the other hand, if there is a decent chance, it's probably one of the most entertaining situations in snooker for me.

I haven't seen a frame won with 4 snookers needed for many years

Other than the Selby-Hendry frame, I haven't either. But I think there were two occasions this season where a player got the four snookers they needed, only to then lose the frame anyway.

Not EVERY frame when ur 42 down with 27 on for example, otherwise people wouldnt be attracted to the game, sessions would drag on for an extra hour, people would be playing for 4 and 5 snookers on a reasonably regular basis, getting 2 if they're lucky then needing 4 again, losing a frame after 20 minutes, then a scrappy frame, overall it would damage the game in my view, there are just enough scrappy frames as it is, what would it be like if everyone carried on when they needed 3 or more snookers even if the balls were not well positioned or 4 or 5 snookers just for the sake of trying to win every frame? The game is fine as it is when it comes to snookers dont get me wrong, it's a damaging aspect of the game if everyone followed that lead though in my opinion

Well that's the Trump Dott match over!!! The Great WT, a font of knowledge earlier in the week "all the reds will move on this packshot" or words to that effect, then oly one red moved!!! He thought it was hilarious as did I!
