Thanks Ronnie, over 22.5 frames was a safe bet after all!!! I was SERIOUSLY worried there when Higgins was first in!!

Well played Higgins, I think the better player got through in the end, had some good running but you have to expect that with this game.
Big question is will Ronnie carry on playing? I get the feeling he is falling out of love with the game a bit. Not competing during this season he just seemed a little lacking when the pressure was on, that was the difference really. I think deep down he knows that his game is not good enough to win tournaments now, a bit like Hendry only not quite so bad in the balls.

A bit of a shame it ended on that note, but that can always happen once a player is one frame from defeat. O'Sullivan will know where he really lost the match. Two times actually, first with those mistakes from 8-5 up, and then with these two nervy misses at the business end.
Higgins will now need to raise his game, because Williams looks very strong.

just feel ronnie lack of crunch matches this season has caused him to lose a bit of big shot nerve & also though ronnie had a little run of the balls early today, boy did it switch round, not only the fluke but lots & i mean lots of nice flicks.well done john though.just a shame some seem to think its all about the winning & forget its also a spectator sport.H.b.142
