    I feel the same way.

Great black by Ding to stop the bleed.

Great clearance Ding!!!!! Pure "bottle", if he's ever to be world champ, it's those clearances u have to be able to make under utmost pressure!! Agree totally cueman, also to give selby his due he seems to get better the longer a match goes or the closer it gets!!

Perhaps, its VERY tough mentally at the Crucible, I only mean 1 or 2 crucial balls he misses, I know he nicked the last frame, what a fantastic shot there to get in!!! Maybe this tournament he can get to a final, where he deserves to be due to his massive talent, if he just scored that fraction heavier a little more often he could be world number 1, and win a few more tourneys! It's just that 3 to 5% on scoring he's missing in terms of consistensy, missing easy balls!

        • Usually I am pretty good at seeing the next shot but I can't understand some of Ronnie's shot selection during this match also there were some dubious choices in a couple of the previous matches too.
It's as if he is trying to make the game harder than it needs to be, giving himself a bigger challenge.
Why did he refuse the easy red sitting over the green pocket and take a difficult cut into the bottom right (as we view the table) which he missed?
Why did he refuse the easy red to the bottom left and play a difficult cut again to the other side instead?
Maybe he was thinking about the higher value colour but it wasn't as if it was going to end up a close frame......

            • Shot selection is different by all the players, its how you see things and your style of play that dictates the shot you take. Some players play the percentages all the time, take no risks, others like Hendry, O'Sullivan and Trump just want the balls open and do take on more risks than others. Can look reckless or silly at times but thats what makes them great to watch.

LOL, if he could play on with just the black he would in the hope he could get the white in the jaws of the pocket to get a snooker!!!

                        • Ronnie lacked one thing and it's his fault, MATCH PRACTICE ! That let him down under pressure

                          • What else do you expect, even if he needed 7 snookers with ink and black left, he'd still play on.
